REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Payment for workshops must be received in full at the time of registration. You will not be officially registered until your payment has been received. Payment may be made by credit card through the website.  If you require another form of payment please email Cecil and David at nifphotoworkshops@gmail.com.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We are relying on your attendance to make lodging arrangements and assignments, so if for ANY reason you need to withdraw, please notify us as soon as possible prior to the start date of the workshop. We must receive written notice of your cancellation. Unless otherwise stated in the description of the workshop, the following cancellation policy applies for our workshops:

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your space in the workshop (unless otherwise noted), or you may pay in full.

  • The remaining balance is due on a certain date stated in the description of the workshop, usually 90 days before the start of the workshop.

  • If the remaining balance is not paid in full, your space will be forfeited without any refund of the deposit. 

Refunds: If we do not meet the minimum number of participants and need to cancel, you will of course be fully refunded. If you cancel, the workshop is otherwise full and there are more than 60 days from the start date of the workshop, we will refund you the full amount, minus a $150 service charge. If you cancel, the workshop is otherwise full and there are less than 60 days from the start date of the workshop, or if you cancel and the workshop does not fill but still has the minimum amount of participants, you will be refunded according to the following schedule, based on the full fee of the workshop:

  • Greater than 90 days from the start date of the workshop: full refund minus any non-refundable deposit. In the case of no deposit a $150 admin fee will be charged.

  • 61-90 days: 50% refund minus any non-refundable deposit

  • 31-60 days: 25% refund minus any non-refundable deposit

  • 30 days or less: no refund 

Refunds will be paid in the same method that the original payment was made.

Refunds will be initiated within 72 hours of the time that the request is approved.

The percentage is based on the total workshop fee. There will be no exceptions to our Cancellation Policy and cancellation fees are not transferable.

TRAVEL INSURANCE & IMPORTANT NOTES

The photographers are not responsible for non-refundable costs associated with canceled trips so it is recommended that you purchase travel insurance. Travel insurance is not included in the price. Accommodation and food are not included in the price unless it says so in the description. Your instructors’ mobile numbers are at the bottom of the confirmation email from Nature In Focus Photography Workshops. If you have any complaints or comments, please let us know as soon as possible via email. We value all comments and will make an effort to better ourselves where needed.

SPECIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Many of our workshops will be held on private or government lands and you agree to abide by all rules, regulations, restrictions, and ordinances that govern the land that we are using. Failure to abide by all governing rules or authority could result in the removal of the participant from the workshop with no provision for refund.

MODEL RELEASE

Nature In Focus reserves the right to take photographs or videos during the operation of any expedition or part thereof and to use the resulting photography for promotional purposes. By making a reservation with Nature In Focus Photography Workshops, participants agree to allow their images to be used in such photography; participants who prefer that their images not be used are asked to identify themselves to their guide at the commencement of their trip. 

RELEASE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK WAIVER

All workshop participants must agree to all terms and conditions stated above as well the Release and Assumption of Risk Waiver. This agreement is a pre-requisite and condition to participating in or taking part in any workshop with Cecil Holmes and/or David Akoubian. Your payment for any workshop or event with this company constitutes full agreement to the Polices and Waiver and is as binding as your signature. Refusal to agree to the Policies and the Waiver automatically cancels your participation and is considered a cancellation. 

PRIVACY POLICY

We respect your privacy and do not tolerate spam. We will never sell, rent, lease or give away your information (name, address, email, etc.) to any third party.

YOUR PAYMENT IS CONSIDERED AN AGREEMENT TO THE ABOVE POLICIES, CONDITIONS, AND WAIVERS.
